With more points allocated to education, work experience, language skills, age and personal adaptability.

Business Category
The business program currently falls under three categories of immigrants:
    - entrepreneurs
    - investors
    - self-employed
Improved selection criteria will place greater emphasis on entrepreneurs and investors with a strong business background and the capacity to integrate into the Canadian business community.
Entrepreneur
Currently, those wishing to come to Canada as entrepreneurs must demonstrate their intention and ability to establish, purchase a business or invest in a business in Canada, also their strong documentary proof for their past management experiences and/or business operations(includes bank statement, bank letters, invoices, orders or contracts, tax payment receipts, audited financial statements and claimed properties etc.), and also enough financial resources(normally CDN$250,000 and up) available for the proposed Canadian business venture to start up and get established.
Those applying under the entrepreneur category will have conditions imposed on their visas that require removal of the terms within two years of landing, in order to remove the terms, Entrepreneurs must prove to Citizenship and Immigration Canada officials that:
    - They have invested substantially in a business
    - They are actively involved in the business
    - They have created at least one job for a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Investor
An investor is defined as a person who has successfully operated or controlled or directed a business or commercial undertaking, and who has accumulated through his or her own endeavors a family networth of at least CDN$800,000 of which a minimum $400,000 is to be invested in an official government investment fund. The invested money will be returned to the investor in full after five(5) years and three(3) months without interest. Or otherwise, you can choose to pay CDN$95,000 for prepaid interests, and a Local Bank will finance your investment, which means a Bank pays the Government CDN$400,000 while you pay the Bank CDN$95,000 for prepaid interests.
The investor has no obligation towards the loan from the Bank, also the investor can fulfill his/her requirement as an investor for Canadian immigration purpose. Just as Entrepreneurs, an Investor has to present all relevant documentary proof, like bank statement, bank letters, invoices, orders/contracts, tax payment receipts, audited financial statements for the companies the investor has interests in, and also the claimed family assets/properties etc.
There are no conditions attached to the granting of immigrant visas; however, once an immigrant visa is issued, the investment becomes irrevocable and cannot be withdrawn for a lock-in period of five(5) years.
